How to participate in the International Acceleration Program "NG&Accelerator"
Who can apply for participation (selection criteria)
1 – Master’s and PhD students, young researchers and specialists under 35 years old
2 – Those who never participated in the “Youth Day of SPIGF” in St. Petersburg
3 – Knowledge of English (B1 – Intermediate and upper) is obligatory
4 – Having interest in energy studies, willingness to develop professionally in energy sector is required
Applicants must meet all four criteria.
Stages and tracks
Candidates who meet the selection criteria are welcome to apply for participation until 15 May 2025. After registration all applicants will receive a link to the entrance test which they will have to pass to be enrolled at the Virtual Academy.
Virtual Academy includes Educational and Project tracks of NG&Accelerator. From 2 June to 14 July 2025, participants will attend webinars, complete individual assignments, and start project work under the guidance of experts. In result, five teams with best projects be invited to the XIV St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.
XIV St. Petersburg International Gas Forum will take place on 7-10 October 2025 in St. Petersburg, Russia. NG&Accelerator participants will visit the exhibition and the Plenary Session of SPIGF, workshops of leading industry experts, “Off-tie meeting” with experts and heads of energy companies, and present their projects to the jury. The team winner will receive memorable prizes and further support.
