The final of the International Acceleration Program “Natural Gas & Accelerator” (the key event of the Youth Day of SPIGF) took place on 7-10 October 2025 in St. Petersburg. In united 39 finalists from 12 countries, selected out of over 200 candidates, who competed to be recognized the best.
On 7-31 July 2025, the Virtual Academy was held within the framework of the International Acceleration Program “Natural Gas & Accelerator” (Youth Day of SPGF), combining the educational and project tracks of the NG&Accelerator program. Over the course of four weeks, participants attended webinars from experts – representatives of large energy and IT companies, and also developed projects under the guidance of experienced trackers.

In April 2025, the International Acceleration Program “NG&Accelerator” is launched. It is held within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF). The program is the successor to the “Youth Day of SPIGF” project, which has been held since 2015. Registration to the program is opened until 15 June 2025.
The Youth Day as part of St. Petersburg International Gas Forum has been held since 2015 by St. Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON) with the support of Gazprom and other partner companies. In 2025, after the 10-th anniversary, the project is entering a new stage of development and transforming into the International Acceleration Program “Natural Gas & Accelerator” (NG&Accelerator).
The Youth Day was held on 9-11 October 2024 in St. Petersburg as part of the official convention programme of St. Petersburg International Gas Forum – 2024 which is one of the most large-scale and reputable business events in the gas industry. The central topic of this year is “Present and future of energy world”. The project has been implemented since 2015 by St. Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON) with the support of Gazprom, EF-International and other partner companies.
The Virtual Academy – educational program and the second qualification stage of Youth Day 2024 – was held on 3 June – 15 July 2024.
