The end of the second module is coming. The module is dedicated to partners companies’ strategies.

Participants of The Virtual Academy have already listened to three speakers:

  • May, 15 – Irina Mironova told about the strategy of Gazprom;
  • May, 17 – Julia Boermann introduced the new strategy of merged Wintershall Dea;
  • May, 20 – information about Schneider Electric was presented by Gilles Nougier, Vice-President Zone Europe and CIS.

The last webinar provided by Afkenel Schipstra, Gasinie, is scheduled for May, 23. The third module starts May, 27 and contains webinars and analytical materials about market trends.

Upgrade of Youth Day within St. Petersburg International Gas Forum

For four years of successful implementation the project of Youth Day has attracted attention of more than 500 students from 25 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America and even Australia. They had a chance to meet the leading experts of oil and gas industry, to communicate with top managers of world energy companies in off-tie format and to demonstrate their competences in personal and group competitions. October 2-4, 2018, the Youth day: Dialogue of Generations was held at the fourth time within the official program of VIII St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF).

This international event creates conditions for the open dialogue between business representatives of energy industry and talented youth audience from the world’s leading universities and institutes.

Youth Day was traditionally organized by Higher Economic School of the St. Petersburg State University of Economics (HES UNECON) under the financial and organizational support of International Business Congress (IBC) and Gazprom Company.

The trip was organized by Higher Economic School of St. Petersburg State University of Economics (HES UNECON) under financial and organizational support of the International Business Congress (IBC), Gazprom, Uniper and Energy Delta Institute.

In 2017, the winner of Case Contest became French national team of 5 students from universities Science Po Paris, IFP School Paris and KEDGE Business School Bordeaux. Students are studying at master’s programs both in economic and engineering specialties.

April 11-27, 2017 Russian students’ team “Chemical squad” went to the prize study trip as the winners of the Case Contest on Youth Day 2016 in the framework of St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. The trip was organized by Higher Economic School of UNECON with the financial support of Gazprom, ENGIE, Energy Delta Institute and Uniper.

5 students of Russian universities from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Ukhta have visited such world leading energy companies as Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg, ENGIE, Gasunie, Gasterra, Uniper and E.On. During the trip participants have got an opportunity to study the whole production chain — from exploration and production to transportation and storage of gas. The trip took place in four stages: in Russia, France, the Netherlands and Germany. (more…)
